Two Tomorrows demonstrates global reach

PRESS RELEASE

Two Tomorrows Group is strengthening its global reach with new appointments in both the USA and Asia.

Atlantic LNG, the world's fifth largest producer of liquefied natural gas, has asked Two Tomorrows to assist in the production of its 2008 Sustainability Report.

Atlantic LNG has produced corporate responsibility reports before, but this will be the first time the company has followed an industry reporting standard produced jointly by the International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conversation Association (IPIECA) and API, the North America oil and natural gas trade association.

Two Tomorrows helped IPIECA prepare to develop the next stage of the standard, assessing its alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative's G3 sustainability reporting guidelines.

Dr Todd Cort, chief executive officer of Two Tomorrows (North America) Inc, and the lead consultant on the project, says: "Atlantic LNG are looking to strengthen their reporting about their systems and processes to reflect the progress they have made in recent years. We are providing hands-on support in the writing and production of the report.

"Atlantic LNG came to Two Tomorrows because of our global reputation as reporting consultants, and our familiarity with the IPIECA/API reporting standard."

In Asia, Two Tomorrows has been appointed to provide independent report assurance for two of Korea's sustainability leaders. SK Telecom and Samsung SDI, both members of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, have asked Two Tomorrows to assure their sustainability reports in accordance with the AA1000 Assurance Standard (AA1000AS).

This will be the fourth year that Samsung SDI, manufacturers of batteries and energy products, have commissioned the team at Two Tomorrows to undertake this work.

For SK Telecom, part of SK Group, Korea's fourth biggest conglomerate, Two Tomorrows' experience in working with AA1000AS played a decisive role in their choice. According to senior consultant MinGu Jun: "SK Telecom made the decision to seek AA1000AS-based assurance because they see it as the best way of winning the trust of stakeholders, and because they know it will help them raise the quality of their reporting."

Through predecessor companies Sd3 and Csrnetwork, Two Tomorrows is a clear market leader in the provision of report assurance using AA1000AS, according to figures from Corporate Register. Furthermore, it has supported clients in producing sustainability and CSR reports since 1999, placing the company in the world's top three reporting consultants.
