Two Tomorrows assures ProLogis report for fourth straight year

ProLogis, the US-listed global provider of distribution facilities, has released its annual corporate responsibility report, which has been independently assured by Two Tomorrows for the fourth year in succession.

We conducted our assurance against the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) principles for successful reporting and verified that the report met the requirements for reporting at the B+ level under the guidelines

Our work included:

• conducting interviews with a selection of senior managers at ProLogis HQ in Denver, Colorado to understand the company's governance arrangements, stakeholder engagement process, management priorities and systems
• attending a meeting of the Sustainability Management Committee to assess the process for identifying and acting on material issues
• carrying out a general review of issues raised by external parties that could be relevant to ProLogis’ policies to provide a check on the appropriateness of statements made in the report
• visiting a construction site in The Netherlands to interview local management and the contractor company responsible for project management and to review site-level sustainability data
• reviewing corporate-level sustainability data and claims in the report.
