Mark Line, executive chairman of Two Tomorrows, a DNV company, has spoken about the importance of generating stakeholder trust in a corporate sustainability strategy.
In a Sustainability In Focus seminar hosted by DNV Kema in Norway for senior executives from the private and public sectors, Mark said that proper stakeholder engagement is essential for any company hoping to create a truly sustainable business.
According to Mark, paying attention to what customers, suppliers, regulators and other stakeholders care about has multiple benefits such as avoiding pitfalls, facilitating deals or contributing to regulations, making it easier to adapt and innovate.
