LNG ShipTwo Tomorrows has begun helping new client Atlantic LNG with its 2008 sustainability report.

The contract with Trinidad-based Atlantic LNG, the world’s fifth-largest producer of liquefied natural gas, is a further sign of our global reach. It is also a significant step for our United States office, which opened in October 2008.

Atlantic LNG has produced corporate responsibility reports before, but this will be the first time the company has followed an industry reporting standard produced jointly by the International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association (IPIECA) and API, the North American oil and natural gas trade association. Two Tomorrows has helped IPIECA prepare to develop the next stage of the standard, asses sing its alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative’s G3 sustainability reporting guidelines.

Dr Todd Cort, chief executive officer of Two Tomorrows (North America) Inc and the lead consultant on the project, says: “Atlantic LNG are looking to strengthen their reporting about their systems and processes to reflect the progress they’ve made in recent years. We are providing hands-on support in the writing and production of the report.

“Atlantic LNG came to Two Tomorrows because of our global reputation as reporting consultants, and our familiarity with the IPIECA/API reporting standard.”

Through predecessor companies Sd3 and csrnetwork, Two Tomorrows has supported clients in producing more than 60 sustainability and CSR reports since 1999, making us one of the world’s top three reporting consultants, according to figures from Corporate Register.
