ISO 26000 services

Business peopleTwo Tomorrows can assess your company’s management arrangements against ISO 26000 and provide you with an independent opinion statement. We can also help you use the standard to drive consistency and address gaps across your organisation.

ISO 26000 is an international standard that sets out the principles and key issues of corporate social responsibility. It gives guidance on ways to integrate social
responsibility into strategies, processes, systems and practices.

If you already have a robust sustainability programme, ISO 26000 can provide a useful means of checking that you are addressing all the relevant issues. And because of the strength of the ISO brand, it can be used as a tool for raising awareness of social
responsibility within the company and for publicising your progress externally.

Meanwhile, if you are just starting out on your CR journey, ISO 26000 can be a valuable framework for building a bespoke, value-adding management system.

Gap analysis

We carry out a gap analysis that compares your social responsibility management arrangements with the guidance in ISO 26000. We present the results as a dashboard showing where you are exceeding, meeting and falling short of ISO 26000. We also recommend actions to address underperformance.

Independent opinion

We can provide an independent opinion statement to confirm your use of ISO 26000 and to present our view on alignment between your existing management arrangements and the guidance contained within the standard. This statement can be included in CR reports and communications with customers, and can support submissions for ratings such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

Management system development

We can help you get started on your corporate responsibility journey by designing and implementing an ISO 26000-based social responsibility management system for your organisation.

Training

We offer two ISO 26000 public training courses.
