Strategic advice to international energy company
International electricity and gas company National Grid commissioned Two Tomorrows to review its corporate responsibility programme, compare it against international best practices and recommend potential improvements.
The review identified relative strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and threats facing National Grid. It included:
- analysis against key attributes and drivers that constitute ‘best in class’
- an understanding of how ‘best in class’ practice is likely to evolve
- an assessment of the degree to which National Grid’s current strategy is future-proof.
The review concluded with a series of recommendations and options for further exploration.
During 2001 and 2002, we worked with Lattice Group plc (which subsequently became part of National Grid) to help the company develop its CSR report. We were involved throughout the process from initial planning through report writing, reviewing, design and publication.
