Research project in Korea

Two Tomorrows is involved in a three-year rural development research project with Korea’s National Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology (NIAST), which is part of the central government Rural Development Administration. The project, started in 2010, is aimed at developing a low-carbon green town development framework for carbon reduction in rural areas of Korea.

 The project goals include:

  • co-developing planning guidelines for low-carbon green towns in rural areas of Korea
  • co-developing low-carbon green rural town technologies
  • developing a low-carbon green rural town standard development model.
