Report assurance for social enterprise
Through our partner organisation JustAssurance, we have for several years provided independent report assurance to Furniture Resource Centre (FRC), a British social enterprise that makes and sells affordable furniture while providing employment for long-term unemployed people.
In our assurance statement, we recommended improvements to FRC’s stakeholder engagement. We were subsequently asked by the organisation to help implement these changes. We ran workshops that helped FRC engage with its key stakeholders and, as a result, FRC uncovered several new ideas for business improvement.
