Environmental management advice for media group
Since 2002, we have assisted Trinity Mirror plc in developing and implementing a group environmental management programme. Initially, this was based on an independent review of the company’s existing environmental management arrangements, which involved visits to key print and editorial sites and interviews with senior managers and data-providers.
Subsequently. we worked with the company’s environmental steering group to help guide the implementation of the programme. This involved setting environmental improvement objectives and targets, collecting and collating KPI data, tracking legislative requirements and undertaking independent audits of selected print and office locations.
We also collated data and drafted the environmental performance content for Trinity Mirror’s annual reports for the years 2002-2007.
We now provide ongoing support to the company’s environmental committee.
