CSR report and advice
We supported the UK government’s Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (previously known as the Department of Trade and Industry) on the production of its first-ever CSR report in 2001. We researched and compiled a set of case studies to go in the report. These illustrated a wide range of best-practice CSR activities among UK businesses of all sizes.
Separately, we also provided support to the department on a project to develop a sustainability toolkit for the electricity distribution network. The toolkit seeks to make social and environmental issues a more central factor in decision-making processes, with the aim of supporting a move to a low-carbon, more sustainable economy. We collaborated on this work with Forum for the Future.
