Creating the Green City with Korean government body
We are helping to create the world’s most liveable green city by contributing to a government-led project in Korea.
We are providing strategic advice to the Low Carbon Green City project that is seeking to turn Gangneung on the east coast of Korea into a model of environmentally friendly urban planning that can be applied across the country.
We are advising on key aspects of the project, including:
- greenhouse gas management – measurement, monitoring, reporting, target setting and strategies for reduction
- renewable energy strategy
- engagement of stakeholders
- publicity
- development of a responsible procurement programme.
The Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS), the leader of the project, came to us for our expertise in carbon management, renewable energy and sustainable development mechanisms.
