Carbon profile for outsourcing company
In 2005, we produced a carbon emissions profile for British business process outsourcing company Capita. It was the first time Capita had sought emissions data covering its buildings, transport and energy usage.
From our work, Capita gained an emissions profile at both group and business-unit level, which it was able to use in its CSR reporting. We also provided guidance to enable Capita to repeat the emissions profile itself in future years, as well as advice on how it could improve its systems for measuring emissions and collating data.
