Benchmarking and ethical supply chain management
Our work with Symantec has included benchmarking of the Symantec Corporate Responsibility Report (winner of the 2009 ACCA First Time Report Award) as well as advice to help Symantec develop stronger responsible supply chain management mechanisms.
Our benchmark work has been tailored to Symantec’s sector to highlight relevant issues and opportunities. We have also integrated aspects of the Accountability Rating/Tomorrows Value Rating to assess messaging, content, systems, policies, governance and structures.
In addition, we helped Symantec compile a summary of its current responsible supply chain management mechanisms and identify areas for improvement. To accomplish this, we interviewed managers from throughout the organisation. Based on our discussions, we made recommendations to be tested by the Symantec responsible supply chain team.
