Assurance for UK utility
Through our predecessor company csrnetwork, during 2002 and 2003 we acted as independent assurance providers on Northumbrian Water’s environment and society report. We assessed the reports against the AA1000 Assurance Standard (AA1000AS). This involved interviewing senior managers to review corporate structure, governance arrangements, stakeholder relationships and social and environmental management systems, and interviewing providers of data and information for the report.
Separately, through our other predecessor company Sd3, we provided similar independent assurance of Northumbrian Water’s 2003-04 sustainability report. We also worked with the company to help it develop its approach to managing its key social and environmental risks.
