Assurance for Korea's top telecoms service provider
Two Tomorrows provided independent assurance of the 2010 sustainability report issued by KT (formerly Korea Telecom).
The assurance was carried out in accordance with the AA1000 Assurance Standard (2008) using Type 1 criteria. We examined the report against the three core principles of inclusivity, materiality and responsiveness.
As part of our assurance assignment, we made recommendations to KT including that they should clarify how the management activities described in the report are relevant to sustainability challenges, and how these activities contribute to the achievement of KT’s vision of becoming a global ICT convergence leader.
Our expertise as the world leader in AA1000AS assurance and our approach of including stakeholders in the assurance work was vital in winning the work.
