Assurance for Korean internet portal provider
Two Tomorrows has provided independent assurance of the first sustainability report from Daum Communications, a popular web portal in South Korea. Daum offers many internet services to web users, including web-based e-mail, messaging service, forums, shopping and news.
As part of our assurance work, we recommended that Daum Communications should:
- raise stakeholders’ awareness of social, environmental and wider economic development challenges
- provide a forum for engagement, debate and information sharing to encourage discussion around sustainability
- seek solutions to sustainability challenges based on its core service and capability
- enhance its brand positioning as a sustainable company.
