Assurance for engineering subsidiary of Doosan Group
Doosan E&C, engineering and construction subsidiary of Korea’s Doosan Group, published its first environmental report in 2010 and commissioned Two Tomorrows to provide independent assurance.
We carried out the assurance using the AA1000 Assurance Standard (2008). We provided Type 1 assurance at a Moderate level.
The key recommendation we made as part of the assurance assignment was that Doosan E&C could enhance its mid- to long-term strategy by enhancing its understanding of stakeholders’ material sustainability issues and building a clear governance structure to manage those issues.
