AA1000AS assurance for Korea-based ICT company
For four consecutive years, we have acted as independent assurors of the sustainability report produced by Samsung SDI, the Korean batteries and energy products manufacturer that is part of the giant Samsung conglomerate. The most recent report we have assured is Samsung SDI’s report for 2008, due to be published in mid-2009.
Our work, which has been carried out with local partners BSI Korea, uses the global AA1000 Assurance Standard (2008), and evaluates the report against the three key principles of inclusivity, materiality and responsiveness.
